The College Access Counseling Certificate Program is a 40-hour minimum (non-credit, Continued Professional Education - CPE) certificate program that fulfills the professional needs of secondary college access counselors. The program has been specifically designed to increase the participants' knowledge and improve their capacity to assist students in navigating the pathway to college.
The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a 36-hour, non-thesis graduate degree program. With programs designed for both new teachers and experienced teachers, we provide opportunities for students holding bachelor’s degrees who are interested in pursuing graduate study in education. Our dedicated faculty offers teachers an exceptional amount of personal contact, coaching, support and supervision through this rigorous academic program. Additionally, program support continues with an internship experience that hones strong analysis of student work, classroom management, and parent-teacher relationships, and an alumni network for collaboration and support.
Candidates already holding a master’s degree may choose to earn the principal certification only. Candidates needing to earn a master’s degree can do so via our Master of Arts in Teaching program (MAT). The MAT plan of study can facilitate a specialization in educational leadership, allowing you to earn your MAT and principal certification simultaneously.
