The POGIL (Process-Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning) method of teaching will be modeled throughout the course. Topics that are new since the 2014 AP Chemistry curriculum revision will be covered as well as directions for completing the course audit. Some topics from each of the six Big Ideas on the AP curriculum will be covered. Due to the lack of laboratory facilities there will be no lab component to this workshop. However, labs appropriate for AP Chemistry will be reviewed and discussed.
