APSI: AP Macroeconomics for New Teachers, Week 3

This course will introduce the teacher to the material and skills to support student success in the AP Economics courses.

Creation of syllabus development and time management will be discussed including location of resources. Content material will be reviewed with strategies and teaching materials focusing on the most challenging concepts.

Julie Meek has been teaching since 1994 and teaching AP and IB economics since 2003. She has graded for AP economics since 2007 and has been a table leader for the last three years. Previously, she taught and graded for AP human geography. She is a part of the North Texas Economics teachers group and has presented many times for that group as well several times at Council for Economics Education. She holds a masters in economic education from the University of Delaware.
