This institute will focus on ways to implement a successful program in AP Spanish language or help experienced teachers enrich their existing programs.
Participants will discuss student performance focused on three communicative modes: interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational. Furthermore, participants will explore AP curriculum and syllabus development into all levels of an AP and Pre-AP program. Additional activities will include examining and sharing teaching strategies and instructional materials, and exploring the integration of skills and authentic materials with a special emphasis on the use of technology and the arts. Participants will be asked to actively participate and share best practices with the entire group.
