This course follows Photoshop and Lightroom for Photographers and takes you deeper into Photoshop and Lightroom, covering retouching, making composite images, creating special effects and designing output, including slideshows and web pages.
Adobe® Photoshop® and Lightroom®– the most popular digital processing software available today—have made huge changes in the way that photographers process photographs. This course follows Photoshop and Lightroom for Photographers and takes you deeper into Photoshop and Lightroom, covering four special topics in depth. Professional photographer Bob Warren guides you through the process of retouching, making composite images, creating special effects and designing output, including slideshows and web pages. This course is based on the current release of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom.
Bob Warren, M.L.A., is a professional photographer with more than 30 years of experience in still-life, fine art and documentary photography. He has taught classes in studio lighting, intermediate photography, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and is one of the owners of Houston Skyline Studio. Mr. Warren holds a master’s degree in liberal arts from the University of St. Thomas.
Prior completion of Photoshop and Lightroom for Photographers or a similar introductory Photoshop and Lightroom course is strongly recommended.
Participants must bring a Mac or PC laptop to class, preloaded with the Adobe Creative Cloud® suite and with Photoshop and Lightroom installed. The cost of a subscription to these programs is approximately $10/month and is not included in the course fee. Information on installing these programs is provided upon registration.
