The Certified Financial Planner® Certification Education program teaches the core curriculum necessary to meet the educational requirement to sit for the CFP® Certification exam, including completion of a financial plan development (capstone) course registered with the CFP Board. Students may choose to earn either a Texas teaching certificate (in a specified field) or a Texas teaching certificate and a Master of Arts in Teaching.
