Get your cameras clicking! This past summer we announced the Rice Centennial  Photo Contest, administered by the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies and cosponsored by the Rice Centennial Celebration, the Office of Public Affairs and the Woodson Research Center.

Our contest seeks photos that capture the spirit of Rice University, as viewed from the photographers’ individual perspectives. The top three entries will win cash prizes ($1,000, $500 and $250), and a special $250 Glasscock School prize will be given to the participant who has taken a photography class at the Glasscock School since January 2000. See complete details on our website and register your interest in participating.

Photos can be submitted from February 1 through March 23, 2012, via an online form that will be posted February 1. There is a nominal entry fee.

We announced the contest months ago so interested participants would have four seasons in which to photograph the campus. But we will also accept historical photographs, as long as you were the photographer.

We lined up a stellar panel of judges, so take this opportunity to get your work in front of them and the entire Rice community!

This one probably won't win
