Carroll Scherer, our director of professional programs, and George Zombakis, program coordinator, braved the snow and 21 degree Denver weather for the Society of Human Resource Management Coordinator’s Conference May 1-3. Carroll co-presented a session about offering HR classes in an online format to better serve the time constraints of busy, working adults that was extremely well received. George was commended for his use of LinkedIn to market professional development classes and was invited to return as a speaker next year. At the conference, we received certificates of recognition as one of the top 20 university partners for the SHRM Learning System and top 10 university partners for the Essentials of Human Resource Management. We were also acknowledged for successfully running a SHRM Global Learning System course in 2012.
