Are you curious about developing e-learning projects?  The Glasscock School of Continuing Studies offers the Rice E-Learning Design and Development Institute (REDDI).

Student Learning OnlineWith online learning booming, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of this industry and offering the latest in e-learning technology. REDDI allows individuals to enhance their job skills and marketability by learning how to develop e-learning curriculum to meet their organization’s needs.

“This program is on the front line of preparing professionals to develop their own learning materials and teach courses that will meet the needs of their organization more completely than hiring outside consultants.” – Jean Kiekel, REDDI instructor

Whether you’re interested in e-learning, work in the e-learning field or want to transition into the realm of e-learning, REDDI welcomes adult learners with beginning to intermediate levels of teaching or course development experience. Our program offers a supportive learning environment that exposes participants to the various ways of working with different operating systems and learning about instructional design.

“REDDI’s focus on authentic development promotes solid transferrable skills to job roles in education, training and development, and human resources. Program participants will gain valuable hands-on experience by developing an authentic e-learning module that incorporates theory and current best practices.” – Beth Laderer, REDDI instructor

If you’re looking to expand your knowledge in the e-learning design and development space, REDDI is the entry point you’ve been looking for.
