Fall Dual Credit Summit

For Current and Aspiring Dual Credit Teachers  Sharpen the skillsets needed to support your students through the rigor of dual credit curriculum and instruction.

Fall 2021

A growing number of community colleges are providing high school students with the opportunity to earn college credit and high school credit through concurrent enrollment with post-secondary institutions while still in high school.

The dual credit classes are taught by educators who are expected to mirror the profile of a traditional college instructor.  Dual credit instructors are required to possess the appropriate credentials, ensure the course will meet rigorous post-secondary standards, and utilize instructional strategies that advance critical thinking and problem solving.

The Fall Dual Credit Summit is designed for anyone who is interested in or is currently teaching dual credit courses. This one-day summit may include topics such as: content specific break-out sessions, employing engaging instructional strategies, utilizing open education resources, effective integration of technology in content areas, and strategies for supporting struggling students.
