Director of the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Angela Seaworth, ACFRE, recently received the M. Anne Murphy Award for Professional Advancement at the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Houston chapter 2015 Awards Dinner. The ceremony was held at the Hess Club on September 24 where she was recognized and applauded for her dedication to the nonprofit sector among her colleagues.
“I’m grateful for all I’ve learned from them and other colleagues in our chapter over the years, and I’d like to think this award is evidence that I’ve appropriately displayed my gratitude by passing on that knowledge and being willing to support others in our field,” said Seaworth.
As the founding director of the Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership, it is no surprise to the Glasscock School that Seaworth is passionate about providing education and nurturing leadership among nonprofit professionals. We are thrilled to see her incredible work and dedication recognized in the community.
Congratulations!
